Ingredients

  • ½ cup water boiled
  • 2 tulsi tea bags
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1-2 teaspoons maple syrup or honey if you prefer (non-vegan)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups unsweetened oat or soy milk heated
  • nutmeg grated (for topping)
  • black pepper (for topping)

Instructions

  • Add tea bags, cinnamon, turmeric, ginger, honey, and vanilla to boiled water and let steep for 4-5 minutes.
  • Remove tea bags and add hot oat milk to tea mixture. Blend until frothy.
  • Divide into two mugs and top with a sprinkle of nutmeg and black pepper before serving.
